She asked lots and questions and really listened to our answers, she would suggest things, but was never pushy. Consequently we cannot recommend Joanna highly enough!! We were all thrilled with both our hair and makeup. She made us look and feel fantastic. So much so that my bridesmaid is hiring Joanna for her wedding!

As a Bride who rarely wears makeup and does nothing with her hair on a day to day basis I was so nervous about how I would look all done up, but I also knew that I wanted to look and feel amazing and different to everyday me on my big one-and-only day.

You are so down to earth and professional. You made me feel so relaxed on the morning of the wedidng when everything was crazily hectic around me, you looked after my Bridesmaids for me so I did not have to and you took all my feedback from the pre-wedding trial on-board resulting in a very, very happy and confident Bride.

My makeup did not shift all day and night and the base was so good that I did not need to powder my face at any time throughout the entire day. My hair was amazing and stayed put right through to the evening dancing – and to be honest even then it only started coming loose due to me jumping around to The Killer’s Mr Brightside! The way you styled it though meant that when it did become loose it still looked amazing and almost like it was meant to be bohemium.

My Bridesmaids were also nervous about their hair as they can be quite fussy BUT they all loved it. I was so pleased to see my three best mates looking so beautiful and happy.

The fact that you travelled from Blackpool to Macclesafield early on a Sunday morning was fantastic and I will definately be recommending you to anyone that is looking for a hair and makeup artist in the future (whatever the occasion).

My only regret is that I can’t relive the moments all over again. Thanks again Jo.
